6.4.10 "The DREAM Church"

"The DREAM Church"

2 Samuel 22:21-23:23
Acts 2:1-47
Psalm 122:1-9
Proverbs 16:19-20

Acts 2 tells the story of the birth of the church. We're very familiar with the story of the upper room, and Peter's sermon to the thousands. We see how the first altar call was answered by 3,000. In verses 42-47 we find a description of this early church.

"They joined with the other believers in regular attendance at the apostles' teaching sessions and at the communion services and prayer meetings. A deep sense of awe was on them all, and the apostles did many miracles. And all the believers met together constantly and shared everything with each other, selling their possessions and dividing with those in need. They worshiped together regularly at the temple each day, met in small groups in homes for Communion, and shared their meals with great joy and thankfulness, praising God. The whole city was favorable to them and each day God added to them all who were being saved." (Acts 2:42-47)

This church is a DREAM Church. Check it out:

We need to be a church that Lives the DREAM. The church can Live the DREAM when each of its members are living the DREAM. We must realize that this description of the early church FOLLOWED experiencing the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

As we draw together to seek God, his presence will fill us, refresh us, and His Spirit will empower us to apply Godly principles to every area of our life. We will function with purpose. We will experience miracles. We will be the DREAM Church!

Through the Power of the Spirit,
Live the DREAM!
